I owe you, my readers an apology. I am a lifestyle blogger and life has been pretty crude for the last few months. Needing money I took on a second full time job. After working myself nearly to my grave; I gave up the side gig after 4 months. While my employment was coming to an end, I was falling head-over-heels in love with the sweetest, most charming and best dressed guy I know. Thus, the blog took a second break while I spent as much time with my guy as possible. Hindsight, looking back I’m glad I focused on him instead of writing.
Unfortunately, my love was not long for this earth. We dated 4 months and he changed my life (for the better) in those 4 months. My boyfriend, Auslin Hudson passed away February 8th, 2018. Yes, he was sick. He knew, I knew, his closest family members knew, but he made his choice not to receive medical attention, though he needed to desperately.
Like Forrest Gump, that’s all I have to say about that.
So now, here I am in a hotel room on a Friday night banging out the blog post I’ve attempted for 3 weeks now. Night terrors have me at my wits end, so I got away for the weekend. Just like Auslin, the depression/anxiety is a story for another day.
I wanted to check in, let you all know that I’m healing and I love you. Please, don’t take anyone in your life for granted. I never thought I’d say goodbye to him…so soon.
With the deepest love,
